Mini Vacation at Captains Quarters

by Will Crawford » Tue Jun 01, 2010 11:17 am

We put the boat in the river yesterday and headed down stream to CQ. It always amazes me that a short trip to a cool place can really server to re charge the batteries. Arrived around 3pm for a late lunch / early dinner. Ruth had the Tandoori roasted chicken which was very good and I had the pan fried flounder with creamy spinach sauce- Outstanding. We sat on the deck and watched the river traffic. Great day. Great food and service. Thanks CQ.

Thanks for the kind words Will, I am usually at the restaurant on Monday's but after Sunday I put my feet up all day ( puppies hurt ) !
I was going to put in after April but after all the rain we had in May there was to much drift in the river, glad it was back to normal for the holiday :D
Will see you soon in Westport !

A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it's better to be thoroughly sure.
