Ahem hello???? And why won't you be coming to A.J.'s? Our shakes are better and cheaper. Our food is definitely better as quoted by Robin.

Yeah, but Polly's wins for atmosphere. :D

Seriously, Alison, I recommend that Louisvillians who trek over your way do what I do: Stop at BOTH places!

Ok, Robin, I grant you that the setting is better than ours. However, you will not find a baklava flurry or an espresso shake at Polly's. Not to mention all our Greek food items which are completely unexpected at a road side ice cream stand. :D

Alison, the house where I grew up, and where my mom still lives, is situated an equal distance from both your place and Polly's. That makes it a tough call, indeed. Polly's has the tradition, you have the unexpected. As a practicing Europhile, I'll award you the win by a nose ...

I appreciate that Roger, thanks. You have to try the Baklava Flurry, outrageously good

And I grew up, lived as a kid anyway, two blocks behind you on Walnut St.
