Free meal * for military and vets at Avalon on Memorial Day

Avalon celebrates veterans and military personnel on Memorial Day, Monday, May 31.

Active military and veterans and the spouses of currently deployed troops are invited to dine in for free (up to $25, alcohol not included) at Avalon on Memorial Day, Monday, May 31. Owner Steve Clements and General Manager Larry Watson have declared this Avalon's special day of appreciation for our men and women in the military.

Again, the free meal offer is not to exceed $25, excludes alcoholic beverages, and is valid for dine in only. Avalon will be open Memorial Day from 11:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. for lunch and from 5:30-10 p.m. for dinner. The bar opens at 5 p.m.

Avalon is located at 1314 Bardstown Road in the Highlands. (Parking in rear.) For reservations call 454-5336 or click www.avalonfresh.com for online reservations.

Avalon Summer Hours
NOW OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK

Lunch daily, 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.)

Dinner Sunday – Thursday, 5:30 p.m. – 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 5:30 – 11 p.m. Bar opens at 5 p.m. daily

Happy Hours (inside bar only), 5-7 p.m. and last hour of the evening.

This is probably the coolest promotion I've seen. Good job Avalon. So do I need my "DD-214" to participate ?

What you see is what I got. I have no idea if it's honor system. I have absolutely no idea where all those ancient papers of mine are. :lol:
