American Craft Beer Week

by Jeremy Markle » Fri May 21, 2010 2:35 pm

...comes to a close this weekend. Haven't had a chance to celebrate yet? You can join me and our master brewer Ken "Brews" Lee tonight at Westport Whiskey & Wine from 5-7pm to enjoy some tastes of our beers: Kentucky Ale, Kentucky Light, and Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale. Ken, who was master brewer for a certain patriotic sounding brewer up in Cincy for 12 years before coming on board with us, will be on hand to share his experiences and to co-sign your Declaration of Beer Independence. http://www.americancraftbeerweek.com/pdf/Declaration.pdf

We'll head over to BoomBozz afterwards for a pint. Please join us!

Also, if you are in Lexington tomorrow we will be hosting our 4th annual homebrew competition. This is totally open to spectators and homebrewers alike. We get started at 9am.

Finally, all of your beloved local brewers will be out at the Buy Local First Fair at the water tower on Sunday. Weather is looking perfect for this wonderful event. Hope to see you there!
