DCE will be hosting an opening by the Art Jam collective.
Jon us for free appetizers, lots of art and live music.
Also just down the street Bank Shot Billiards will be hosting the BBC Tap Room and their tent. 1.50$ BBC bottles all night long.
Come on down and stop in for an iced mocha, a frozen latte or an espresso afogatto (espresso ice cream float)!

See you tomorrow!

Just to let all of you know, Melillo's will be closed to the public on first friday 7-6-7. A loyal customer wanted to host a rehearsal dinner at the restaurant for 100 people and made me an offer I couldn't refuse. There are other wonderful places to eat while you're trollying though. The Mayan Cafe, Artemesia, Primo, Park Place, Jennica's, Brownings, and Flirt to name a few.
It's the hand of the cook that expresses the heart.

I put vegetables in your desserts, white chocolate with your fish and other nonsense stuff that you think shouldn't make sense, but coax the nonsense into something that makes complete sense in your mouth. Just open your mind, mouth and eat.

Whenever i get off my ass.
I never even made it down there to eat when was Chip was working there if that's saying anything.

Me 'going out to eat' usually involves sitting at a bar these days.
...i guess you guys do have a bar though....

true....
but that was '777' was on Lucifuge.

I Luciferi was album '777'

i mean you can't miss (or forget) the lyrics:
'Seven
Seven
Seven is my name
Seven come
And seven go
And seven
Still remain, yea
'

...i mean, that's classic.

i must commend you on your Danzig trivia.
I actually just poured a BBC Bourbon barrel i'd been cellaring (whether or not cellaring was a good idea... i shall soon find out.)

Proost!

Its amazing how these topics move off into strange tangents like Danzig, and in the Bastille Day thread about IV's and avatars.....

But, while we are off on tangents, you still can't beat Danzig's work with the Misfits... Their first greatist hits CD was 24-25 songs, and was approximately 38-40 minutes long. Great average song length....

I believe I lost interest in Danzig with that ill-fated Classical music CD he put out at his peak of fame.... I just didn't understand that one at all.
