Sushi and Grilled Items

Okay the wife wants a good sushi bar but I don't do seafood. Any suggestions of places that have good sushi and grilled steak/chicken entrees?

Sapporo on Bardstown Rd. is very good. Along with great sushi, they have various steaks (and probably chicken) prepared on the Hibachi Grill. Not sure if there's a minimum number of people required to sit at the Hibachi table though. You may want to give them a call and ask.

As far as I know, pretty much any of the local Japanese places (i.e., Sapporo, Fuji, Kobe) have the hibachi option with steak and/or chicken (not sure about Maido). I don't know about Sapporo, but at Kobe you don't have to have a minimum number of people to get a hibachi table.

Kimi's Asian Bistro is another option. Not too sure about the Hibachi style but they can provide alternatives to your needs quite nicely. My 2 boys thoroughly enjoy Kimi's. Right off Blankenbaker & Bluegrass

I've recently been to Caviar (downtown on Muhammad Ali) and thought it was great...I did have Sushi but my husband had some other items in a Bento Box. Their menu is large and I think it is available on-line.

I agree Kelly, Caviar is very nice with atmosphere & menu. Had a larger get together there once. Love the Tatami room.
