Did I miss the post on the closing of Back Yard Burgers! We were out that way today, slumming at the Waffle House and saw the "Closed" on the sign. Just goes to show that the number one concept in the good ol USA is not a slam dunk. Have a great day guys and girls.
I'm assuming you mean the one of the Wal-Mart on Westport road. We noticed that also the other day. The one on Blakenbaker was still open last week when we went by. I think location was the problem with the one on Westport especially after the crowd at that Wal-Mart diminished so much when the new one opened in Middletown.
Good to know that one is still open. I don't wish ill will on any establishment. That location could be a difficult one, and it is a super large space. Such a mixed income group out that way. Maybe a "good" country cooking place would make it. No chains, please.
