New Sports Bar coming to Middletown/Jtown

by Debbie Gray » Fri May 14, 2010 12:11 pm

Rumball's Sports Bar is moving into the old Lone Star Steakhouse on Whittington Parkway. This is their second location. The first location is in the southwest part of town on Terry Rd. Our company is doing all of the audio/video plus security. We do not have an open date yet.

It will be nice that there will be one less vacant building in town.

It's about time they did something with this building...the thing has been vacant for years.

I agree. Now if something would happen with the Bahama Breeze building.

Tear it down? Looks like prime real-estate, but being that it is basically one-way in, one-way out (onto Shelbyville), I'm lead to think it's anything but.

I guess Calistoga bread company isn't doing as well as expected. Originally they were going to take over this location for the second local store.

Actually the building will be torn down in three years according to the owner. There is new development scheduled for the whole area. The sports bar is scheduled to move across the street at that time.
