Arbor Ridge Vine & Grill in Crestwood is hosting a charity wine dinner benefiting the Arts Association of Oldham County on Tuesday, May 25, 2010. The evening has been dubbed “Cookin’ Up the Arts”. The total cost per person is $85 which includes a $25 tax deductable donation to the Arts Association of Oldham County. The festivities begin at 6:30pm and reservations are required as seating is limited. Arbor Ridge will be closed for regular business this evening.
The wines will be from Fetzer Vineyards, 9 time winner of the “Winery of the Year” award from Wine and Spirits Magazine. Fetzer Vineyard’s focus is on quality, affordable wines. The evening’s wines include 3 “Best Buy” selections and a “Cellar” selection from Wine Enthusiast magazine. Fetzer Vineyards is also known as a leader in being environmental responsible and has won 11 awards in recent years in this area. A special guest speaker representing Fetzer Vineyards will be on hand to discuss the wines, the wine making process and their environmental responsible initiatives.

A 5 course meal featuring Oldham County grown and raised products paired with quality wines priced under $50 (plus tax and service and a tax deductable donation). If there is a better way to support the arts, we are not aware of it.
