VK closed for vacation

In case anyone was planning to go to Vietnam Kitchen this week, they are closed through July 12 for vacation. I've been craving it for weeks and finally went over there last night.....unfortunately, to no avail.

When I am not in the mood for a trip to Vietnam Kitchen, I will satisfy part of my craving with something from Lemongrass Cafe. There is something to be said about being close.

What do you normally get at Lemongrass? I had a bad experience when they first opened and haven't been back. I'd love to hear suggestions.

This is, of course, a vacation well-deserved. This is one of the most fantastic places to eat in Louisville.

I've had 2 very bad experiences at Lemongrass and won't go back.

The first time we went, it was fantastic.

The second time, it was a little off, but I can chalk that up to a bad night.

Third time it wasn't just a little off. It wasn't very good at all.

The fourth time was as bad as the third, and that was the end of that. Haven't been back since, don't have plans to. Now it's always VK for us.
