Shady Lane New Menu Items

by Susanne Smith » Fri May 07, 2010 1:38 pm

Dear Readers,
Susi and I wanted to announce a few new specials with Robins okay of course.
The Shady Lane Cafe is now serving along with all our other delicious sandwiches, a New Orleans inspired Muffeletta, which is grilled and on a french roll. It is served with sweet potato fries, and has become one of our best sellers in a few short days. We also are serving homemade pimento cheese, which can be had grilled with apple wood smoked bacon and tomato. Very delicious.

Also, don't forget our breakfast on sat. mornings until noon. Not to brag, but it is the best around. So when all the hipster places have a 40 minute wait. Take the short drive up our way and taste a real down home breakfast. Thanks again to Robin for this opportunity to announce our new items.

Also a shout out to the "Blind Pig" for a delicious Bison burger and portabella sandwich the other day. Cool place, good staff, and excellent food.

Thanks. Bill and Susi Smith

Breakfast, I had no idea. We'll be there soon.

Had breakfast there on Saturday. I had an 1/2 order of pancakes and an 1/2 order of sausage gravy... yummy yummy. This place has a great vibe. You truly felt welcomed as soon as you walked in the door. We can't wait to go back.
