Did anyone attend the Taste of Derby at Mellwood Arts on Thurs.
Anthony Lamas cousin has posted a picture on facebook of "Top Chef's" at that event, and I want to know more! :D

I was stupid and blew off my free tickets (earned by being one of the original judging panel) because I'm just not into the Derby celebrity mob scene. Now I'm wondering what I missed.

We went -- I won tickets from Friends of Lou. I didn't see any celebrities unless you count Top Chef contestants. Really enjoyed the food -- the seviche of course, some great crabcakes from Maryland, pork belly from Chicago, 'popcorn' shrimp (cute, served with fresh popcorn on it) from Florida. I overindulged in the Fleur de Lis cocktail  but didn't pay for that till the headache yesterday.
It was fun, but no way could I ever drop $350/person for a few nibbles and drinks!
