Friday Lunch

My family wanted to take me out for my birthday, Friday, but we know restaurants will be slammed for Derby. What about lunch Friday--are restaurants slammed then as well?

Probably busy but not slammed, particularly if you go for a latish lunch, when folks will be at the Oaks or headed that way.

Charles - in my experience, you can get in at just about any restaurant during Oaks lunch.

We're planning to visit the Bristol Bar & Grille (Prospect) on Friday for their Oaks Day Brunch...check the Bristol's website for details...might be another option for you.

Bet you could get in at Shalimar or Dakshin for an Indian lunch buffet.

I'm actually thinking of Corbett's. They have a few openings--never been.
