New restaurant

CJ in the business section is reporting today that John Varanese, chef at the Cardinal Club and formerly Azalea's is receiving low cost loans to help open a new restaurant at 2106 Frankfort Av. That is the location of the defunct Red Lounge.

No indication of what type of restaurant it will be.

There was a long thread about this on here previously. Don't have time to look for it, but perhaps someone else can. I believe it is going to be Italian, because part of the discussion was about having two high end Italian restaurants within a few blocks of each other.
