Spumoni...anyone...?

Any suggestions as to where I might find home-made spumoni on the menu this Spring & Summer? (Preferably on a restaurant's dessert menu, rather than at a grocery or at an ice cream parlor.)

The new Di Fabio's on Frankfort Ave has spumoni, and while I can't attest to the quality of it cause I haven't had it, the family that opened it is really awesome and I wish them the best.

So, they're open, huh?

I found the website for DiFabio's Madisonville, KY, original location, and it said they hoped to be open in Louisville by late March. The menu sounds tempting. I'll have to try it.

Yes - they are definitely open. If you don't know where it is, it's sandwiched between the Irish Rover and Java Brewing Co. on Frankfort Ave. across from Volare. I truly can not say enough great things about the family. Some of the nicest people I've ever met, every single one of them.

The Homemade Pie and Ice Cream kitchen has it as well. I haven't had theirs, but I do remember seeing it last weekend.
