Edoya closes

by David O. » Fri Jun 29, 2007 8:35 am

I only ate there once and dutifully reported back here to no response, so..... I'm not surprised that they are now shut down.

There is a sale sign out front if anyone would like to suck it up and step to the plate ;-).

David, I remember your post, sorry it didn't spark a conversation, but I guess that's because none of us ever got out there. Sort of a circular thing.

It's a beautiful location, and it's had a couple of sterling occupants. It would seem to me that with the huge population growth out that way, it ought to work for someone. I hope some investor/entrepreneur and chef can find a way to make it work.

In true Louisville fashion, it was where Trattoria Mattei used to be.

Korsens/Trattoria/Veranda/Lanai/Edoya....snake-bit don't you think?

It's across from Steel Tech on Shelbyville Road.

That's ironic. That's the restaurant that we were going to go to, the night we ended up eating at Mimi's. Sorry to hear it went under. That just seems to be a BAD location...no place has really done well there, it seems.

We ate there twice and had excellent meals. Sat at the sushi bar all night long and had a blast. I am very sorry it didn't last.
