Anniversary?

by JasonW » Thu Jun 28, 2007 11:28 pm

I need some help in finding a restaurant to take my wife for our anniversary. I would like to find somewhere that is romantic with music, not over priced, and where I don't have to dress in my Sunday best. I don't mind dressing up, but suit nor tie on this occasion. There is one more kicker. I am a real picky eater. I like meat (steak) , potatoes, seafood, and few vegies. Any suggestions. My wife loves sushi, italian, etc.

Lots of possibilities, but reading your list, I'd suggest Palermo Viejo on Bardstown, a great Argentine steakhouse; or Melillo's on East Market, cozy and delicious family Italian.

What does "over priced" mean? 610 Magnolia is very expensive, but I don't think that it is over priced.

No question, hands down, it must be L&N Wine Bar. Perfect for a romantic night.

We are great at Aniversaries. Ferd Grisanti restaurant has been host to many wedding dinners, aniversaries, and other similar romantic evenings at a reasonable price. Italian is our specialty but have a couple of steaks to select for you. Ask for our Alfresco room!!

Happy Aniversary!!

Suggest Jarfi's for Anniversary!

by Melissa Richards-Person » Mon Jul 02, 2007 2:17 pm

Hi there and congratulations.

There have been some great suggestions already, but I would suggest you also consider Jarfi's Bistro at the Kentucky Center. Jeff did my husband and my wedding, and we've had dinner there a number of times. Because of his location, I think, he manages to have a menu with a little "something for everyone" - from SeaBass to Steak and even a sushi bar. Your wife can get a little sushi as an appetizer, then have some delicious baby lamb chops or seafood, you can have a nice steak.

Jeff's staff is warm and accomodating, and if he's there himself (which he usually is) I'm sure he'll do everything he can to ensure that your anniversary is memorable.

Have a great night no matter where you choose!
