Re: Should you be informed abou a party of 20 before seated?

Hey! Im usually just a "foodie wannabe" stalker on the board, but my sister and I just had a similar experience this morning at North End. Not a rowdy table, but after waiting a bit for a table they sat us in the bar/dinning area. It only took a few minutes to feel that we were under the air vent!! It was strong enough to blow my hair and take the napkin off the table. Pretty uncomfortable. After the waitress came back with our drinks, we asked if there were any way we could move to a booth just opening up. She didnt miss a beat, smiled, picked up our drinks and lead us to the new spot. Ah! Another perfect breakfast (Migas!!) at North End. I guess we could have sat there and waited for the waitress to fiqure out we were uncomfortable, but why? No one was upset or embarrassed by the request and all ended well.
