Go Louisville, for every door that closes a window opens!

Sorry about the doors closing though!

[edge of the earth]

I'm a bit behind as I've not started to use those emoticons (I don't text, either). My real intention was to be ironic & wistful. I don't really consider moving to be like closing but, man, are we going to miss it being a lot closer for us. On the contrary, with the expansion of the burbs they will probably do even better, which is the irony part. But, you know, people gotta eat out in terra incognita as well. Glad you check out places in So. IN (the other terra incognita). There are a lot of good places. Good travels and good eats to you!

Damn, these are starting to hurt.... Southern Indiana is reverting back to chain hell again...

Dave, let me know where you land this time. I know there are places that can use your talent.

That's odd that they weren't open at 8:30am this morning, we pulled in the parking lot and no one was there.

I just called and they said they changed their hours, now not opening until 10:30am. They said because of slower morning business and they economy. That's weird since they had an extensive breakfast menu/coffee, etc.

More from Craig's List

Inside sale SATURDAY 10 AM Nov 8th.

Small pizza oven, tea sets, bulk spices (Sams), steam table (small), bulk teas, 36" round tables & 20 chairs, coffee urns, 20 oz tea glasses (12-15), coffee mugs, hot tea cups, stainless steel cookware, steamers (top of stove and electric), utensils, portable ice maker (self-contained), cabinets, tea pitchers...etc.

The business is closed because my life partner passed away on Oct. 16th. We owned and operated the tea house and cafe together and now I just need to clean out the space which means great deals all around.
Location is 415 E Riverside Dr Clarksville IN... think Rocky's, Hooters, Bristol, Kingfish...now go toward the Falls of the Ohio. Three story blue Victorian with white picket fence (formally The Widow's Walk Ice Creamery) Come and see what's available. Thanks!

That's a really cool house down by the river. I hope something reopens there.

Doogie said this a while back:

The real loss is what has happened to most Americans over the last 8 years. I lost my job. Has anyone else? Even if you haven't, has your lifestyle changed?

I lost my job too.
