I'm a total Top Chef addict, I just noticed this thread on here lol. I was sad to see Radika go, she kinda grew on me. But she clearly had no idea or experience with front of the house work. She should have made Jeff do it, besides him being much easier on the eyes, he's very charming. I think they should have kicked Beeker, er I mean Carla with her soupy yogurt and chocolate cake that kinda looked like a turd.

I like this show so much better than Hell's Kitchen. There is usually some pretty neat and interesting takes on food. As douchey as Stephen was on the first season, he had some great ideas...This seasons bunch I'm wondering about however...
Either they don't have any really original ideas, or they are holding back and working in their comfort zones to keep from getting eliminated...I haven't seen anything yet so far that I couldn't do or wouldn't have thought of myself....

I considered applying for the show a couple of years ago and even went as far as asking the guys from BMB Productions(Secrets of Louisville Chefs) to film my video submission. But after looking at the eighteen page application with so much legalese in it, I had to have my attorney brother-in-law look it over. I decided against it because 3 months is a long time to be away from work and my wife and you basically sell your soul to NBC. However, I might have to reconsider. After watching this season's batch of chefs, I feel I would have just as good a chance as any of them.

I totally agree that we need some local talent on the show!! All of those New York, Chicago, Miami folks need to know what great chefs we have here in Louisville. Go for it, Dan!! :D
When in doubt, add more wine.

First of all, Dan, you'd rock on Top Chef!

Secondly, how annoying IS Fabio! He's rubbed me the wrong way from the beginning... I just think he's going home.

Then again, I could be wrong...

You're right, my hubby called it. I don't know if Jeff was the right choice....but how wildly inconsistent is this crew - I mean....Carla?!?! Winning? After last week?

Yeah, John and I were saying how there's really no stand out except Stefan - and he's just not likable. But he should win, judging by who's left.

What's the over-under for how long it takes Jamie to put scallops in her final menu?

I'm so glad Jamie went home- her "I've seen this already and I'm bored" attitude at La Bernadin made me furious, as if she could hold a candle to Eric Ripert. Perhaps she was upset at the lack of a certain mollusk.
And I'm throwing something at the TV the next time Leah touches her hair during service. Really girl- put on a head rag.
