Welcome to Louisville - we're glad you're here.

Thanks Josh. I'm actually based in Louisville for my job but usually only spend time here for various training scenarios.

Since I'm used to having virtually any kind of authentic cuisine available while home, I'm not easily satisfied with the typical chain choices that seem prevalent in Louisville. I don't mind going out of my way for good eats.

This week I've had a pretty good bowl of beef tendon Pho at Vietnam Kitchen and some surprisingly authentic beef tongue tacos at La Tapatia on Preston.

Pizza next week! :)

If I'm in town, I'd be more than happy to show you some good eats Casey!

I hang out at the Ear Inn down on Spring St on Tuesday nights with my riding buddies. Here's some info. Good bunch of guys!

Won't know my schedule until late April. Just let me know when you'll be there and we'll try to hook up!

Let Adam know I apologize for getting his name wrong :)

Nice meeting you tonight Casey. Had a great ravioli dinner with salad and garlic knots. Lotsa food, enough for my dinner and lunch tomorrow. Love the cheese baked on top. I think I'll be making my way through the whole menu on a weekly basis! Especially the nights hubby and son are working.

Crisp, thin crust and flavorful sauce...not sweet. Nice to be able to pick up a slice and give it a proper fold. As good as I've had in Louisville.

Definitely not the sit-down Domino's/Papa John's pizza you'll find at Wick's.

I'll have to try a fresh slice next time.

I may sound like a pizza dope here, but I don't eat alot of it. I won't bore you all with my favorite qualities, but I've gad quite a few pies from spinelli's (they deliver well past the time others close), so what can anyone tell me is a distinguishing trait from them. It's cool if they're alot alike, right? But if there's a noticable difference, I wonder what it is.

Actually, I think Danny Mac's thread was shorter than this one... or at least comparable.

I can't wait to try Casey's pizza!

I had the chance to try a slice today- I felt like I was back home. I met Adam who is the owner and had a great chat. I didn't realize he only moved to Louisville in Aug. What a fine job he has done in such a short time.
Now that I have found it (it is sort of easy to miss) I will be back- and I will definately be ordering delivery.
Welcome to Louisville, Adam, and nice to meet you Casey.

I tracked this place down for lunch yesterday. It was a bit difficult for me to find since I left the address at home. Once I narrowed down which block of Oak street it was on, no problem. Beware the lack of signage though when you venture over there.

We sampled some garlic knots with mozz cheeze melted on top which were quite good and a Mediterranean Pizza which was awesome.

We had a nice chat with Adam while we were waiting on our food. nice guy who I think will make a great addition to the local food choices. We will be back.
