Is this something that we should be worried about or not?

I'm going back to what I said in the first place, Steve. No matter what kind of bureaucrat was on the scene, this is the kind of local mess that parents should be able to resolve with a quiet visit to the principal. There's no need to turn it into a meme about the Decline And Fall of the American Republic or the flaws of Big Gummint. Apparently this incident was indeed cleaned up locally and without resort to legislative action. Most such incidents are, when the affected people respond competently and appropriately.

I wouldnt lose any sleep over it.
