My conscience is bothering me that I didn't mention my two other favorites: the Club on sourdough at City Cafe and the Chicken Parmesan at Ramsi's.

My new fav fish sandwich is at Theater Square Marketplace. Best fish sandwich I've found in Louisville.

Oh that does sound like a winner. Dallas does amazing things with fish!

i think this thread is what made me go to Corner Cafe, which still makes a good sandwich...

Shady Lane Cafe will make me a Cubano... I might just be special, but I'm willing to be they'd do the same for anyone... it's not a "real" cubano, but it is very tasty. Toss in sweet potato fries and call it lunch!

Went to the Corner Cafe for lunch today. Was thinking "sandwich," but the shrimp and grits with red eye gravy, onions and country ham side-tracked me! :D

Out here in Garage Logic (Gumption County seat) the Red Pepper Deli serves up some fine sammichs. But when I really-really-REALLY want a good sammy...I head on down to Shady Lane for the grilled Bacon and Pimento Cheese. It's like sammich crack.

Ivory Bacon at the Blind Pig, followed closely by the Bacon Buttery at . . . the Blind Pig.

The braised pork sandwich at Eiderdown and the Croque Madame at Bank Street at also notable.
