HotBytes Potluck Dinner to Benefit KY Harvest - Who's Coming

I just saw this, as I haven't been on the Hotbytes as of late (discovered Facebook, enuff said). Anyway, this is ironic as I called Ky Harvest Monday to see how I could help with volunteer services (also ironic that they didn't call me back!). I have to talk to the hubby, but I would like to attend, and help in prep if that would be useful. I'm available from 10am until about 3pm, so let me know. I'll probably bring a side dish, like an Indian basmati rice or something. Dish subject to change

My husband and i will be there, with our 17 kids.

As for the dish i don't know yet. I will be in church that morning and traveling straight to Oldham Co afterward, so i don't know how i will "store" my food until 1 pm. I live in Indiana so it will be a bit difficult to drive from my church (in Louisville), back home, then to Oldham Co. ......

I will have to think about how i can work it out. I did want to cook something though..... I wanted to take abichuelas .... puerto-rican beans.
