Are you allowed to just rotate between two locations?

Excellent! We'll stop by sometime after 7 p.m. :) (Have to be at St. Matthew's Episcopal at 8 p.m., but that's not far ... )

Well, I hope you make it somewhere near the Downtown/Highlands area soon!

....a number of people have suggested Old 22 and Chamberlain Road Area, OR the nearby Summit-Springhurst Shopping Areas.

I live in Norton Commons...In my opinion, the area is "ripe" and affords a near perfect opportunity....The money is there as well as the appetites!!

Taco trailers tend to locate near Mexican and other Latino groceries, both for supply and for demographics. Putting this as nicely as I know how to say it, I think some of our more upscale suburban neighborhoods might freak right out if a Latino taco wagon started pulling up and attracting happy Spanish-speaking crowds every night until midnight. I'm not saying this is right. But I'm just sayin' ...

It breaks my heart to post this. . .but I stopped by Tacos Toreados this weekend and was disappointed when I got home and got into my elote to discover that underneath the cheesy goodness on the top of the cup was. . ..canned yellow corn. Isn't the elote supposed to be roasted corn off the cob? Has anyone else tried the elotes? Was it the same? I have to say, it tasted *delicious* regardless, but I found it odd that I was asked to wait for the elote to "cook" when it was obviously out of a can.

However, the service was friendly and the tacos were AWESOME!! Can't beat the prices either, and I still gladly recommend the place.

Laura, the elotes at Las Gorditas are also made with canned corn. Seems to me that a Latino eatery ought to use corn off the cob IN SEASON, but in January, in Louisville, where corn on the cob has come from someplace far, far away, I'm guessing that canned niblets are just as good.
