For the record, the Creekstone Angus steak I had at BNA on my review visit was, I believe, the best steak I have ever eaten in my life. Anywhere.

OK, I'm writing this down. :)

Well, "tastes just fine" is a matter of palette, of course. There's quality, and then there's QUALITY.

Then there's just being prudent enough to know the difference between each and paying a fair price for a nice steak dinner. All of us cannot afford a triple digit meal out on the town.

I never recommended a "triple digit meal". I inferred that if you pay several more dollars (taking it to around $20), you will get a much better steak.

I don't think Robin meant anything personal toward Robert by pointing out that he likes steak well done. If a person recommended a movie to me, I'd like to know what else they like before I take it to heart. If they thought "Blazing Saddles" wasn't funny or "Miller's Crossing" was slow, well, we probably won't like the same movies.

It is amazing how some of you just love to bring this topic down to such a low level as your last post Robin and the quote you had on it....You show real class and show just how much hate there is for "The places I like to eat at" on this Food Forum...or should be called Food Forum as long as it is Local....That would be a better title for it.....By the way I will be ding at Tumble Weed tonight I will be sure to clean up after myself....

Taste is relative

by Doug W » Wed Apr 25, 2007 3:35 pm

To each their own. While I probably wouldn't like all the same things as you, or the preparation you prefer, I don't begrudge you eating what you like.

Cheers,

Doug.

I would so like to throw my in my 2 cents here but, I'm quite sure it will either fall on deaf ears or I'll get blasted.
