Hi this is Michelle, I did the lilcheezers site, and the foodruckustruckus.com site as well. The time has been added to the information. Let me know if you have any suggestions or problems!

Also, we will have a street food community website up soon with a forum, twitter feeds, a truck directory with ratings and comments, a full event calendar, etc. Hopefully in the next week or 2!

We just got home from our first Food Truck Ruckus...I took hubby and son with me...We managed to try 3 different trucks/operators.We had Hole Mole both the chicken and pork chorizo it was good, I loved the pickled onions they had available for toppings then we sampled the barbeque wagon...hubby said it was called Holy Smokes but I am not sure, It was great good valued huge portion. Then at the last minute my son the carnivore decided he wanted to try Morels...go figure and we all took a bite of his banh mi vegan hot dog an boy that was great...Sorry Lil Cheesers your line was too long and we were hungry. Both my hubby and son loved the event well so did I and now want to try the other trucks as well...Had a great time

yeah, i wanted lil' cheezers as well but the line was a little intimidating. had a morels hot dog, dee-lish. one would never know it wasn't meat. also had both offerings from hole mole that were both very good. add in a couple nabc porters and it was a nice time. great turnout, which is very encouraging.

We were hoping to go to this today but the sheer thought of going across the bridge gives me a headache now...hoping there will be another at some point after things have settled down. I really like the Morels food I've had from Rainbow Blossom.

The Morel's "hotdog" is pretty amazing. A couple of those and I'm good. The food truck folks were in Prospect last Sunday night - other than Morels I was sort of meh to the whole thing.

I missed Food Truckus Ruckus because we were busy with a service project, but I absolutely agree about Morels. The Banh mi hot dog was a life-changer. We get LightLife Smart Dogs fairly often now, and enjoy "hot dogs" without guilt. (You do have to learn how to cook them - i.e., NOT overcook them - and serve them with spicy accompaniments. Stan Chase helped with advice on that. But a hot dog that actually tastes like a dog with 45 calories and no fat? I'm down with that.)

I've been happy with L'il Cheezers, myself. I've heard people whinge that it's a lot of money for a grilled cheese sandwich, but it's an excellent grilled cheese sandwich with quality ingredients, one that wouldn't surprise me in the least if it went for $10 in a sit-down eatery.

And don't forget Mozza Pi. Definitely a competitor in the Louisville Pizza Sweepstakes. :)

I was just assuming it was there, since it was at the last Ruckus; and speaking of food truck quality in general. Sorry for any confusion.

We were there and didn't see Mozza Pi. I've been wanting to try them. We did enjoy what we had - from Morels, San Diego, Holy Mole. We especially liked the Soup Cycle's three little tastes (with pretzel bun) of beer cheese, coconut curry squash, and watermelon gazpacho.

One note about the Morels banh mi: I really like it, but it needs cilantro. I'm also going to bring my own fish sauce and cheat on the vegan.

Thanks to everyone for coming out and attending the festival, was a huge success! We ran out of food, and I take total blame for that. We prepped twice as much than as we did from the last ruckus and thought that would be enough as there were a lot more food options this time around. Definitely took 6 pages of detailed sales home with me this time to look over and take into consideration for the next one. Trevor and I got to try Soup ByCycle's sampler and WOW was that coconut curry soup incredible. The candy ginger and coconut shreds on top really pulled it all together.

Ken I couldn't agree with you more. When we first started sampling these about a year ago they had cilantro on top, and for whatever reason after the trucks been up and running we haven't been. From now on I will though!

I saw on Facebook where the MozzaPi owners Charlie and Justyne got married yesterday! I guess that is more important, lol! Congrats, guys, hurry up with the new place!
