Here is another question. Do the beer nazis like a glass or a mug?

Kids love it, it has little head, never heard of 1919. If I was going to do draft, I'd buy it from BBC three blocks east of your new location. Awesome stuff. I've always preferred BBC's over Sprecher, but I may be biased.

I'll stop in again. I live a few blocks west on Frankfort in the heart of Crescent Hill. I also need more time to browse your new neighbor's store, Cooking at the Cottage.

I would venture to say that most of us prefer pint glasses over mugs. And whatever you do, please don't freeze them. Frosted mugs and good beer are not meant for each other.

I think this is so interesting. I don't think I have ever had a root beer on tap. Do the kids like it? Does it have a head like a regular beer?

It would probably be the only reason I'd buy a small draft system for my house.

Depends on the beer. Like wine, beer is best served in the appropriate glass. Some beers are best served in mugs, some in shaker glasses, some in belgian tulip's etc. Never a frosted mug however!

I think the issue here, and I say this with all respect and not as a flame-starter, is that the world is divided between those who see beer as an interesting beverage worthy of thoughtful sensory enjoyment, and those who view it as an alcohol-delivery system. 8)

If I'm going to drink mega-industrial beer, why, I believe I will have it ice-cold in a frosted mug, thank you. But if I'm going to pay the price for craft beer, I want to smell and taste it.

Freezing-cold food (and beer is food) stuns your palate and diminishes aromas and flavors. If you want your beer ice-cold, choose an inexpensive beer without much flavor. Seems simple enough to me ...

I consider myself somewhat of a beer guy, but I'm with Pete and Steve. I prefer a room temp pint glass over any other type, regardless of the style of craft beer.

You all watch me push Roger's buttons with this one ...

It would be nice if you could work it out to get some logo'ed glassware for the beers you are serving and sell them with beer.

I agree 100%. However if storage space and budget dictate they are only gonna have one, I'd much rather have a pint glass or a shaker than a mug.

No baiting at all.

I'm in favor of logoed glassware. I am not in favor of giving them away to bribe people into drinking the contents. I am for the death penalty for frosted anything. The freshest frosted ice-cold Budweiser is tantamount to the freshest, steaming-hot cow pie. Optimum freshness, but still disgusting.

I also don't much like mugs unless they're the half-liter German variety.

Any more truth while I'm here? 8)
