Steve, you have me confused. What public attire is required by a dinette, leatherette? Ah, you were referring to kitchette. You're right we wouldn't be comfortable wearing our aprons in public.

Mike and I are (slightly) below the official curmudgeon/ette age, but this thread is cracking me up. If you have ever been to Donut Kastle in Lyndon. there is a group of old guys that meets there every day. Of course, if I lived close to DK I might eat there every day, too.

Enjoy your elder pursuits, men!

OK...ok. Best I can figure we're right at 500 years...give or take...of "experience". Wow !

Be a shame to let that wealth of information go to waste...Should anyone care to stop by after our luncheon I would speculate that that we could be imbibed....errr I mean bribed to entertain a few questions on lawns, power tools, motor oil, hardware, manly fashion and what's REALLY wrong with the youth of America. Even though I'm sure we have all the answers, given the upcoming elections we ask that you please refrain from political questions and/or conversation...Seeing 8 or 10 mature men beat each other with canes is not a pretty sight.

What's the final head count? They will do separate checks okay.

Great lunch today near the shadows of the old Sears building...Not many of the worlds problems were solved but we did enjoy some good pub grub, some great beer and some excellent camaraderie. Thanks to all who helped further my continuing lessons in the history of Louisville, including what constitutes an abandoned building  . All that I I learned some new and creative ways to keep kids of my lawn. :P

Good thing I left early in the mini-van today. It took forever to clear customs to get inside the Watterson today.
