I went there for lunch today. I concur with the above quote. Madani is a great host and the food is good. I also enjoyed their naan (thicker and different texture), their Indain desserts, and spicy ice tea. This is a small, personable type of place that will take time to build a strong clientel needed for survival--give them a chance.

The owner of Little India told me he's been offered a chance to move to the other end of McMahan Plaza, into the building that used to house Whitney's Diner. It's a larger space, and a more prominent location, but he hasn't decided yet if he'll do it. I told him the only drawback I saw was that parking might be more difficult, since it's close to Kroger.

I went by there for lunch recently. He said the kitchen was in bad shape and thus the investment would be costly. He said that the owner ageed to put up a sign in front in place of the Whitney's sign. That will be very helpful. I've eaten there 3-4 times and always enjoyed it.
