I'm not going to take sides, but it sure was fun reading. Ya see, truth *is* stranger than fiction.

Barb raises some good points.
I never meant to do any harm to Ed, I love all his products. I was just stating an experience with the company, just like some would do with a restaurant. And I had no idea that the mold problem was so widespread.
I'm sorry if I offended anyone with my post.
But I do have to wonder why in a similar thread about odd experiences in a couple of restaurants, why everyone was clamoring for the names.
One was Seviche, which we all know that Anthony owns. And Anthony posted a very nice reply and didn't act like she was lying or at fault. Now that's class.
But that post about odd experiences was ok, nobody complained or slammed her.
I never even mentioned Ed's last name and I get the crap knocked out of me. And Robin let it stand and even thanked Ed for his views.
I told the truth in my post, and I was not rude. Just trying to do business.
One good thing has come out of all this, I'm no longer addicted to this website. I'm a long time reader and poster, probably 6 years or more, but I've deleted it off my desktop. More free time for me!

Since you won't be reading this, good for you

She can even get vengeful against a website that offers a wide array of opinions. I'm guessing she's one of those types where everyone else is always wrong

And how exactly do you delete a website off of your desktop, never heard of that one

my disappointment in reading through all of this ... the moderator. robin you made it clear that as the moderator you are not neutral.

she has been 'flamed' repeatedly -

Well, one can delete the browser bookmark. The problem is, if she's really addicted, she may well remember the URL, and occasionally subconsciously type it in the address bar to get her fix. Heh.

Don't think most forget the website name, it's quite catchy

Oh, and I don't believe this is flaming, this is stating an opinion based on what I've read and being nice and mostly respectful. Flaming would be much, much worse. And if it were allowed here this would def. be the occassion to take it to that level :x

Just for the record, I don't know that it's written in the rules that I have to be neutral, but in this instance, I welcomed Ed and told him that I appreciated his posting his side. It's always better, I think, when discussions of this unfortunate type involve both sides, rather than everyone beating up on a victim who's not here to defend himself. But I didn't say I was taking sides, only that I appreciated hearing both sides.

I've known Michele for a long time, too, and didn't mean any harm to her. I hope she'll come back, and I hope this incident won't make me feel uncomfortable about shopping at her place of business.

As I said in my response in that thread, it was about the edit altering the context.

I don't see why you needed to make this comment here, in a completely unrelated thread. It is completely uncalled for.

Perhaps it was moldy fish butt that creeped into the jars tainting them
and maybe abetting their early demise.
