I disagree with Shea's decision and find it ironic that the Evening News/Tribune removed their message boards, and now are worried that complaints about matters such as this might find their way to the letters section.

That was my initial thought as well. I wonder that if this incident had occurred at as small business like Charlestown Pizza Company, would they have withheld their name from the letter?
I like the part where they say it would open a world of complaints about bad service, as if bad service is so common and expected that some intangible courtesy barrier is holding back waves of complaints that are just waiting to gush out. I say break the dam and let the chips fall where they may.
The nod about advertising speaks volumes, yes?
