OK, folks! We've got a great group of people for our December 9th dinner, but it would be even better if YOU were a part. After talking with Michelle, we are going to extend the deadline to Friday, December 5th, so anyone regretting that they didn't get in on this dinner ... YOU STILL HAVE TIME!!!!

Where else can you get a deal like this for $18 per person (excluding drinks and gratuity)?

Family style buffet including:
...Baked ziti
...Chicken parm
...Italian sausage with peppers and onions
...Penne ala vodka
...Eggplant parm
...Salad
...Bread

AND ..... (drum roll please) .... dessert will be the delicious Italian Cream Cake.

So ... here's your chance for a green name to be added to the list!!! Just let me know in this thread and we'll git 'er done!

Rebecca, my dear, you are such a gem to put this together......

Can hardly wait to see everybody for this FEAST........albeit bittersweet, it will be fun, none the less.

And folks, the Italian Cream Cake is THE BOMB.......Come hungary, and leave some room for it.

OK, not trying to throw a wrench into anything, but can the ziti have a vegetarian version also? I didn't realize we were doing a prix fix. Frankly that's what kept us out of the Chinese extravaganza, but this one is more budget friendly, so that's great! Thanks for organizing!

Leah,

I'll ask Michelle and let you know!

We went with the buffet because it was easier as far as the prep went and I wanted to make this as easy as possible for everyone, including Michelle! She and her husband will be able to join us for dinner with us doing the buffet ... which will be very special for the two of them.

A message from Michelle:
"The eggplant parm and ziti are both vegetarian. I will be glad to make the ziti with veggies added too. I will also make some of the vodka sauce without prosciutto."

A vegan-friendly affair .... and carnivore-friendly, too! What more could you want?! :)

Yes, after having the Italian Cream Cake at one of their Valentine's Day dinners, my DH declared we had to have it for our wedding cake......

Rebecca, thank you so much for all this planning. I can't wait to see everyone.
I think you missed my tablemates from Red Pepper, Holly Rudolph and Jim Ghrist, they are somewhere on page 3.
See you Tues.

No, Gary ... Holly PM'd me with regrets about not being able to attend due to another engagement. They were very sad. :(
