I no longer work downtown, but I always liked Gavi's...across from the police station. Wednesday was cabbage roll day. Mmm.

From my college days...Juanita's Burger Boy. 1st street? Can't remember. By UofL.

Hey, country cookin' fans: You inspired me, so I made a giant vat of black eyed peas with ham and collard greens today, along with slab after slab of cornbread. This will be a special tomorrow for lunch at Cafe Lou Lou, and then dinner, and maybe Monday if it lasts that long (we are closed on Easter).

Let me just say: best pot of peas and greens I've ever made. Please come enjoy some.
