This may be a bit much to ask but could someone that's eaten at Game give a bit of description of the favors of the meat they enjoyed? I've reread all the posts here and I've seen "the food was wonderful" (always good to hear) but no real description of the game meat. Personally I find ostrich dull and flavorless. I like (ok enough) rabbit but hare is way too gamey for me. Buffalo/bison is flavorful and headier than beef (at least to me) and duck is delightful. What about the elk or kangaroo ?

I've had the meatball sampler, and a burger so that is four meats. I will do my best to give a meat description...

I had the kangaroo which was my favorite. It was sweet and mild. I thought of it a bit like a wagyu beef. A good red meat that was very succulent.

I had the elk, which was much more robust and drier. It was not "gamey" but had a hardy smoked quality to it.

I also had the boar on my burger, which was gamier and had a good savory quality. Not at all like a pork patty much more of an umami factor than ground pork.

I can't remember the third meatball I had it may have been antelope... didn't make a big impression.

That gives me a pretty good idea. Thanks Adriel.

The kangaroo is my favorite. I didn't like the elk, too gamy. I did enjoy the antelope....meaty but not too gamy. I really enjoyed the duck.....especially with the orange sauce that they serve on the foie gras (I asked for some of it). The wagu was ok....a bit fatty tasting for me. The ostrich was a meaty tasting ball, but a bit dry. The lamb was well seasoned and not dry.

The condiments are wonderful. The wasabi ketchup is great on the meaty meats. The bone marrow mayo on everything.
