Dan- I ate there again last night- we got there about 7:15 and only had to wait about 10 minutes.
It was as good as the first two times and my friend from out of town loved it. Cristina and Fernando made a point of coming out to say hello to almost every table when it slowed down.

Sometimes though I swear people come out to have a bad time. An older couple arrived moments before we did and within 5 mintues yelled across the lobby at the hostess that she had 3 minutes or else they were walking.When I mentioned that they were told the wait would be 15 minutes or so the guy said that when a restaurant gets such a good review they should make sure they have tables for everyone who comes in. I told him that tables couldn't be conjured out of thin air and he told me that restaurants shouldn't ask for reviews until they can seat everyone.
Honestly- I didn't know what to say that wouldn't get me started on a rant so I wished him good luck.

Yeah, I wondered when I saw Dan's comment whether he was over-concerned. I'm delighted that Guaca-Mole got a great review, but the CJ just doesn't pack its pre-Gannett clout to slam a place for a month with a good review. The first weekend, maybe, if it's in a popular genre and a good location, but for a month or even a week? I don't think so.

Wow, what a douchebag! I often wonder what in the hell people expect sometimes myself. I guess he is one of those people who feels that their time is more valuable or important than everyone elses.
