I've heard this type of diet referred to as "pescatarian." Wikipedia refers to it as such, as well. I guess it's technically a portmanteau.

Sorry I didn't get back to you all until now- I've been ignoring my computer the last couple days.

Thanks for being open to a coursed meal- Yanni really feels like she wouldn't show her best with everyone ordering separately.

There will be plenty for veggie/pesci/tarians

The price will indeed be $20 per. She asked if we could increase amount to $25 since she was doing authentic Korean short ribs- but I told her that wouldn't be possible since it was short notice, so she is including them for the $20. which seems very classy to me.

I look forward to seeing everyone at 6:30 tomorrow.

What are the chances I could buy a take-out box of the event, lol!

I'm right around the corner...

Looks like I am going to have to cancel at the last minute... I have two dogs in the middle of some "interesting" Gastrointestinal issues. Yeah... can't leave the house for long. I am bummed to miss this. :(

Hey Guys and Gals, It was great seeing old faces and new at Charim tonight. We were pretty well pleased with all the food, but I think next time I'd like to order off the menu. There are so many items on the menu we love and jI can eat a little more than what we had, but all in all it was great. I loved the pumpkin apps. The short ribs were delish, and that sticky rice is the bomb. Glad we made it and to all a good night.

I was happy to put this together- maybe next time for a smallish place two or three small offlines will let everyone order off menu.
It was great seeing everyone and a pleasure to finally meet Bev and Steve.

It WAS fun! Many thanks to Gary for organizing, and I agree, I'm so glad Bev and Steve were able to join us in real life. :) The only problem with one really long table is that it's hard for everyone to socialize, but I heard plenty of laughs coming from that end of the room.

I just want to say thanks again for everyone making us feel so welcome at our first offline gathering...it won't be our last. My hubby said he had a good time as well and everybody was nice, normal people. :D
