As I saw the cupcakes sitting behind the counter and the price board my initial thought was "$2.85 for that little cup cake?". The cake part of the cup cake was mediocre and at that point I was disappointed I had gone. But, then I got to the icing. Jamie's icing is the best icing I have ever had. It is mousse-like and not to sweet. I suggest create a moister cake, enlarge the cupcake and the product will a big seller. With that frosting, I also suggest selling regular cakes for birthdays, weddings, and special occasions once the cake is tweaked a little.

The cupcakes were small when compared to the now-standard massive cupcake, but they were also half the price of a massive brick of cake and sugar. More importantly, they tasted a hell of a lot better than the average cupcake brick. The cake was soft and moist, the frosting was airy and smooth (almost like mousse or marshmallow fluff consistency) without being cloying. It was a well balanced, high-quality dessert for an appropriate price.

I split one of Jamie's chocolate mint cupcakes with my GF the other night after catching it at Heine Bros Schnitzelburg, and it was just incredible. If you like chocolate and mint, you're in for a treat if you can pick one of those up. I loved the addition of the little triangle of mint chocolate candy bar on top, and the pleasant surprise of the chocolate ganache in the middle.
Thumbs up all around.
