Good, I thought I remembered that you were at this event. To be honest, how we're going to do the event remains somewhat of a mystery, but I am under the impression that there'll be vending in a central location and some sort of guided sampling by me and one of the World Class Beverages crew. I will try to keep the board posted on developments.

Roger,

Overall I've been pretty impressed with the way this event has been organized...It suffered a bit the first two years due to 90+ degree heat but obviously that isn't something within their control. They seem to be pretty responsive to suggestions for improvement and (apparently) the inclusion of a craft beer element is something they felt would improve the overall appeal. If it were me, I'd try and nail these folks down to exactly what they are looking for and exactly how they want things to work...

Ideas have been duly tossed around. Obviously, there are a variety of interests to be served with such events, and licenses, and concessionaires, and all that, but everything seems do-able thus far. I actually do worry a bit about another stifling summer. As you noted, that can't be changed. Let's hope for 80's, not 90's on this particular weekend.
