Small group meet for pizza lunch some time soon?

Curmugeons luncheon or should we open it up to all ages and genders ?

Most of us outside the curmudgeons age range have these things called jobs, so is weekend lunch possible?

The only restriction I can see would be numbers. It's a small place, pizza made to order, and I think 30 people would over-fill it and result in a less than satisfactory pizza experience. Can we call an offline and cap the number at 10 or 12?

The tall one wants white toast, dry, with nothin' on it.
And the short one wants four whole fried chickens, and a Coke.

Depending on the date it sounds interesting, put us down for 2 unless we have a conflict for the date.

Put me down for one for lunch. I'll let you know later if your date doesn't work for me. Majority rules.

I throw out a date to get things moving...how about next Thursday the 17th. Say 11:30?

That works for me. Are we going to throw a hard cap of about 10 or 12 on this so as not to overwhelm them, then go first-register, first-served?

Or just warn them we're booking the entire restaurant. Or a 10-12 max is fine also.

I wouldnt want to "book" the place. If we get a good number of "no shows" it could make for an awkward moment. Ill vote for a cap of 12ish,but Im not familiar with the size/seating of the place.

At a guess, it would seat about 24 to 30, but it would be like a subway car at rush hour.

Would you be willing to call and introduce yourself to Matt, John, and see what he thinks? He's a good guy, I'd just rather not make the request because of my status as a food writer.
