A couple of photos from the event...

There are a few familiar faces in this shot!

This is a fine example why chefs need to stay in the kitchen!

Dan & Brett, such a great job putting this thing together - things seemed to go off without a hitch!

Also, I got to meet Steve and Barbara A.!

John and Annie provided beautiful flowers for the table settings, the place looked great. Always great to see you guys and Bob and Carol C, too :)

Anne and I had a great time. So many good things to eat,but I have to say those bison sliders were great. The real stand out in my mind was the ham...simply awesome!
The tall one wants white toast, dry, with nothin' on it.
And the short one wants four whole fried chickens, and a Coke.

For those who were not there, "The Ham" being mentioned was an artisan cured ham, aged 2 years, produced by Chef Jay Denham ( formerly of Park Place) who graciously donated two of these wonderful hams for our cause. It was fantastic! During clean-up the Chefs were all jockeying to get some slices for themselves.

Many thanks to everyone: Sponsors, Farmers, Chefs and the Kentucky Chapter of the ACF who made this event possible. Due to their generosity, all of the funds raised are going directly to build our outdoor kitchen. We don't have the final count yet, but we think we raised over 80% of our goal with this one event!

Anybody know if these hams are going to be sold around Louisville.

Justin,

Jim Fiedler and I were talking and I know that Fiedler Family Farms has 50 of them aging at their farm, but I don't know when they will be available. You might want to ask them at the Farmers market.

This was a great event, and for all the people who waited to buy tickets-- they missed out on some incredible food! It was great to see so many Forumites-- sorry I couldn't talk (no voice) to very many people. The chefs & farmers did a great job, and I need to give my staff a pat on the back.
Can't wait to see the outdoor kitchen, and experience more of this great cause.

Cheers,
Paula
