It's fish fry time!!!

If I'm not mistaken, the Suburban Social Lodge is ONLY OPENED ON SATURDAYS...regardless of the season. I could be wrong, but i believe they fry fish every Saturday now, but are not opened through the week. Back in the day, they'd open seasonally...but I think that has since changed.

That hasn't changed according to their website but they should be opening this weekend for the season. They close the end of November and open the 1st of March record as a website here:http://www.suburban740.org/socialclub.html

St. Augustine's...1310 West Broadway...too good for words...a wonderful soul food fish fry...great fish...hush puppies...greens....macaroni & cheese...opens @ 11:00 a.m. Get there early, there are always lines. Has been my favorite for years.
