* Panqueques with dulce de leche and banana ice cream from Palermo. IMHO, best dessert in the city.

I just tried the chocolate malt cup from Cumberland Brews for the first time yesterday. WOW it is so good. I'm sure I will be sneaking down there to indulge quite often this summer. The menu says :
"We regularly skim for malt during our brewing process and make our ice cream the old fashion way."
What is malt and how is it involved in beer making? and how do they make it chocolate? and why is it SO GOOOD?
