Ooh, another reason to venture out of the 'burbs. Rooibee red tea is the ONLY commercially bottled beverage I drink now if I can help it. Ever since I cut out soft drinks and caffeinated beverages and substituted Rooibee, I've felt so much more energized. The Lemon Honey flavor is also delish.

Since I work from home out here in Fern Creek, I may put in a delivery order soon.

This place is so good it's just stupid. The missus and I split the Roast Turkey and Roast Beef Sandwiches for lunch today, and they were quite possibly the best examples of their kinds I have ever had. Moist, thick slices of in-house roasted meats on great wheatberry bread. The beef came dressed with sweet caramelized onions and horseradish, and the turkey had an apricot sauce, both of which were great compliments to the meats. I'm already jonesing for my next sandwich from them. Go there and eat. You'll be glad you did.

Mary and I went by Friday and were also blown away. The BLPT, mushroom soup, and artichoke salad ... everything was perfect, and Christopher was his usual charming self as host. Definitely a keeper!

You guys delivered lunch to us at the Board of Zoning Adjustment today. I'd say you got three new customers. (I rec'd we order from you. I'm already a fan.) Tuna was yummy and the lady who ordered the BLPT kept saying it was the best sandwich ever. The other two were too busy eating to make many comments but both appeared completely happy.

Because I am a woman of my word; Kudos to Christopher and everyone at Joe Davola's for a delicious lunch this afternoon. I went with 3 other co-workers and we all left very satisfied. Myself and another got a whole BLPT, another got 1/2 BLPT and tomato dill soup and one more got 1/2 caesar salad and potato soup. The soups got rave reviews and the salad looked very tasty. 2 co-workers even got soup to go. We were treated to cookies mid-meal and Christopher was even gracious enough to come to our table to settle the debate on where his accent hailed. When I told him that I was a louisville hotbyter, his appreciation was very genuine. We will definitely be back and I encourage everyone to give this deserving eatery a try!

I believe I heard him tell someone, England.

I was there today as well. I had the Tomato dill soup and the vegetarian meatloaf both of which were excellent. Christopher keeps trying to give me cookies, but it doesn't go with the weight loss program. I would suggest that the Foodies give this place a shot. Great sandwiches, soups and salads. Christopher is a forumite and these guys love what they are doing. You won't know what your missing until you give them a shot.

Me, too. Must have been HB Central. BLPT and outstanding mushroom soup, full of fresh 'shrooms. Outstanding! Can't wait to try the roast beef next time.

Edited to include: I forgot to mention the free cookie - a nice touch from JD's
