I think every offline needs a ring leader - will you be the the ring leader, Bill, since you took the lead on a head count?

Hi Bill or Marsha. Joe and I would like to come. That is if we can bring our 9 year old. Not sure if our 17 year old will be around or not. So, definitely 3, maybe 4 and maybe 5 if he brings his girlfriend. Got that? .... Good

I talked to Madi - we're reserved for 25 right now, we are able to add a few more. Separate checks are okayed in advance, so long as the servers know up front.

PLEASE READ: There have been quite a few HotBytes offlines where we reserved a bunch of space and then 10-20% of people that had RSVP'd didn't show up. It's embarrassing, and it's rude to do to the staff. Please, everyone who's signed up, if you can't make it, CALL THE RESTAURANT OR POST IT HERE - preferably both. We don't want to block out a bunch of space we're not going to take up.

Some of you gung-ho HotBytes offliners are serial offenders in this category. We love you! We want to see you! - but PLEASE don't say "please add two!" (or 4 or 5) and then just not show up. Thanks in advance - just let us know! We understand that plans change.

Marsha, I couldn't agree with you more. More than once in the past, as host of this virtual club and thus feeling a responsibility for our public actions, I've felt profoundly embarrassed - and also quietly angry at people I consider friends - who simply didn't show up and didn't get in touch at events where we had reserved a head count and taking up space that management could otherwise have used profitably. I understand that Stuff sometimes happens. But people have cell phones and restaurants have telephones. Also, while I won't publish it "in public," anybody who's signing up for an offline and would like to have my cellphone number in case of emergency, I'll gladly give it to you in PM.

Well I must be showing up to all the right events, cause I've seen chairs filled every time I've attended an offline! Of course there was that one I didn't show for... there were circumstances and I'm pretty sure there was not a table reserved, apologies anyway. But still, I think this is gonna be a really good one. The last time we went to Seviche, didn't nearly everyone show? I don't think there's anyone in this attendance list to worry about.

All said, hey Robin, gimme those digits! Just kidding, I know where you live...

Whoever is keep track of the RSVP list, please take my 2 off. There are going to be 3 of us going, however I'm going to call tonight and make a separate reservation from the LHB group. My parents are a bit shy I guess, they wanted to sit separately. But I promise to come over and say hi!
