We went to The Comfy Cow tonight and I had the tiramisu ice cream...it is absolutely incredible! I hope they will consider making it a regular item on the menu, it's something they just started making and it was as smooth and as flavorful as any tiramisu I've had from some of the better restaurants.

It's a little out of the way for us, but well worth the drive...the staff was very friendly and loved the atmosphere...we'll be back soon!

How can you make Dulche de Leche de Salte ice cream better? Put it on top of a graham cracker crust and top it with coffee ice cream and whipped cream and nuts. Just my latest addiction at the Comfy Cow.

If you haven't tried the ice cream pies at The Cow, cancel your plans and head that direction.

One of the owners, Roy, used to be my partner at LEMS - many years ago....... We went on Friday after having dinner at Jade Palace. Next time I go just for the ice cream and skip the dinner! They will let you sample the flavor before buying, it made the decision even harder! I had the cookie dough and loved the ice cream base so much, I was ignoring the cookie dough - I am a hardcore chocoholic, so that is some great vanilla!! Edward had the brownie points, I hardly got a morsel, he was snarfing it down so fast. Will be working my way through the menu..... :D

I forgot the chocolate sauce drizzle.

I stopped in with my wife, mother in law and my kids on Saturday. I got the dulce de leche de salte ice cream. My 5 year old got the peppermint fudge ice cream. The 3 year old got a chocolate fudge cookie, and the 1 year old twins split a scoop of vanilla.

The 5 year inhaled his ice cream and told me it was delicious. The 3 year old asked for a bite of my ice cream so I shared (reluctantly, because I knew where this was going). Then he asked for a second bite and then a third.

So I finally asked him, "Nicholas, would you rather have my ice cream and let me eat your cookie?"

"Sure daddy, that would be great!" was the reply. He polished off the ice cream and tipped the glass so as to not leave any behind. My cookie was delicious :D

We've been dropping by Sunday evenings a little before 8 thanks to a seasonal commitment in the same general neighborhood, and I have a hard time breaking away from the salted caramel to try other things. Definitely a keeper, and I have to admit, the more Westport Village fills up with mostly local businesses, the more impressed I am with it. I don't even joke about it looking like a Universal Studios set any more. 8)

Oh My G-d is an understatement!
I stopped in this afternoon with my son, and I had a scoop of Chocolate rasberry truffle on a sugar cone!
T.o. d.i.e. f.o.r! Really rich and creamy, not too sweet, and the truffles showed themselves towards the end! What a nice surprise!

Love the decor, and the 80's music as well! I think this place is going to make Bank this summer!
(at least I hope so).

Don't walk there, run as fast as you can!

Sorry, I haven't read every post - do they sell ice cream hand-packed? I want some of that salted caramel, I will add my own raspberry coulis.

I finally found an excuse to stop in today. I decided to get a pint to take to my friend in the hospital who just had a baby. I tasted the salted caramel and OH MY GOSH, I know it has been said 1,000 times but that stuff is UNREAL. That is just a happy place. I love it!

I'm guessing this is a seasonal and thus limited quantity flavor, so I'm apprehensive about telling anyone about it, but Dan T has already let the cat out the bag on another post.

The sweet potato casserole ice cream is out of this world. I hate it when a place calls an ice cream X flavor when there is no X flavor to be found, but the sweet potato casserole delivers.

Job well done.
