I'm not talking about surfing the Internet. I'm talking about inquires in reference to one particular place. It's great you don't mind calling them up to ask.

Anyway, back on topic.....

Huber's is open if you'd like to take a ride into the country a bit. It's very much standard Thanksgiving food, and it's pretty decent, I think. They don't do things out of the norm, but if you're interested in a very traditional turkey dinner, they do it well.

All the location of Our Best are also open. Friends were able to make reservations last night for the one in Jeffersonville.

This is actually the day before Thanksgiving. And for the first time, both Zen Tea House and Basa are going to be taking part as well. I'm not sure if Basa will be using there regular menu or not, but it should be easy to find out with a quick phone call.

In case this helps, Hotels are always open on Thanksgiving. I know in the past I've seen posts from The Oakroom with a Thanksgiving brunch menu, and I know for certain that Proof on Main does something special every year. Surely they're at high capacity for the holiday bookings, but that may not mean the dining rooms are full considering most of the guests are liking visiting family and having meals at their homes.

This would also be a good thread to discuss what bars will open on Thanksgiving. To my knowledge, this has become a pretty standard high volume night for night crawlers celebrating reunions with out-of-towners. What bars will NOT be open?

Neither NABC location is OFFICIALLY open, but at the Public House (Rich O's), our beer manager Mike will be UNOFFICIALLY open at 6 p.m. on Thursday. The pizza oven WILL BE OFF, but Mike is making a batch of Bison & Elk Chili, and he encourages you to bring leftovers and have a pint or two. I might drop by after we've finished our usual Vietnam Kitchen feast and a movie.

We will be dining at Proof for Thanksgiving! One of my favorites and I can't wait! The menu looks delish! :D
When in doubt, add more wine.
