From all the postings here and there on various threads, it sounds like the eggs Benedict at Mellilo's is what you're looking for.

Well, I have to give a shout out to the "Most unlikely place to have a good breakfast"...Frank's Steakhouse in Jeffersonville. I've eaten breakfast there the past three days in a row(I'm moving and have packed up most of my pots and pans) and have to tell you that it reminds me of what most people would eat at home if they made their own breakfast.

Where else can you get "Steak and Eggs" (6oz. Ribeye)for $6.99 and have home fries made out of those great baked potatoes left over from the night before!?

Toast on Market is pretty good most of the time, but for the money,(and it's real tight right now for me)take a run across the Second St. Bridge and have a real homestyle meal. Three Egg Omelets, Biscuts and Gravy, Fresh Fruit and Oatmeal....They pretty much cover the bases. Granted, It's not "high flalutin" like North End Cafe or Lynn's...But the service has been Pretty Damn Good and the food is Quite Tasty with out busting out a twenty for your normal offerings for a morning meal!

Ellen, you have got to try the eggs benedict at Mellilo's on Saturday mornings. It's unbelievable.
