I'm with you, Justine. The Alley Cat is at the top of my Louisville sandwich places. (And there soups are pretty dang great, too!) I do agree that those paninis are supper. I just happen to like the turkey, apple, spinach, Brie, and chutney combo better. Before warned it wasn't on the regular menu last time I was there. It is often offered as the daily special, but when it hasn't been the daily special, I have been able to order it nonetheless.

No. The Spicy Beef has a sort of Buffalo inspired sauce on top.

Do you mean the Au Jus? If so thats traditional, as well as the giardiniera.
