Okay - I am not pouring cold water on and we will definitely still be there, but after last night's game I suddenly realized - Monday, April 6th is the night of the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship Game. The televised game itself begins at 9 PM, so we should all be able to get home or wherever we're going to watch the game by then if we start the event early enough. Just wanted to make sure everyone's aware, because I sure wasn't.

Hmm, I don't know what to say. Anthony has been very generous to us about being open to our changes of date and plans. This is an early event. I don't think we should change it. But obviously if nobody wants to come, that could be a problem.

I'm inclined to stay on course and invite folks who have game plans to stop by for a little seviche or some bocaditos and then move on before the game.

I absolutely was not advocating a change of date. I agree with you, Robin, that Anthony's been very flexible, and like I said, I still have every intention of coming - I just didn't want us to get four or five days out before everyone realized the event (early) and the game (late) are the same evening.

The bar was filled with people watching the Villanova - Pittsburgh game last night. Anthony, I met your wife's family from Syosset last evening. They are great! Somehow, they recognized my New York accent, or was it my affect ??????????????????????

Unfortunately, it seems that the issue of the finals game has become a moot point. I'll save my lamentations for the other forums, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Unfortunately Sarah and I have to bow out of the offline. I just got an email telling me that med school dinner obligation that was most likely going to be moved because of the NCAA FInals hasn't been moved after all because the Cards lost.
